Day 1- Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi and meet the SITA representative at arrival
hall and transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of
Old Delhi includes the majestic Red Fort, the historical
Chandni Chowk, besides Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana.
Day 2- In Delhi
Morning proceed on a tour of New Delhi visiting the Rashtrapati
Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys;
the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian
soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxminarayan
Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India’s leading industrial
families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the
Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Baha’i Temple.
Day 3-to Nalagarh
Morning transfer to Railway Station to board train for
Chandigarh. Arrive Chandigarh and straight away proceed
for Nalagarh. Arrive Nalagarh and check – in at hotel.
Day 4- To Manali
Morning drive to Manali. Set amidst forests of towering
cedars, circled by snowy peaks and the unending roar of
the Beas as a constant companion, Manali offers unparalleled
opportunities for trekking, nature walks, angling and other
winter sports.
Day 5- To Jispa
Morning drive to Jispa enroute visiting the Rohtang Pass
(3980 M) and visit Keylong village. Arrive Jispa and check
– in at hotel/camp.
Day 6- To Sarchu
Morning drive to Sarchu. Arrive Sarchu and check – in at
camp.
Day 7- To Leh
Morning drive to Leh. Arrive Leh and check – in at hotel.
Day 8-In Leh
Morning sightseeing tour of Leh visiting the Tibetan Buddhist
Gompas & monasteries of Hemis, Shey and Thiksey.
Day 9- To Khardungla and back to Leh
Morning excursion to the world’s highest motorable pass,
Khardung- La (altitude 18360ft). Afternoon free to stroll
along the bazaars of Leh.
Day 10- In Leh
Morning sightseeing tour of Leh visiting Shankar, Spituk
and the Gompa. Also visit Phyang Monastery.
Day 11- To Delhi
Intime transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. Arrive
Delhi and transfer to hotel.
Day 12- Leave Delhi
You will be accompanied by a SITA representative to airport
