This is how it works: Find the four jacks within the deck. The audience should not be aware that there are four random cards in addition to the jacks. The audience should deal with the jacks but leave the four random cards behind. Place all cards face-down at the top of your pile. The random cards, and not the jacks, are the first four cards. When the four jacks are placed back on top, the trick is done.
